"Coming out of last week's game, we'll work like heck to create more turnovers and the short field for our offense. We've been a really good third down team this year defensively and last game we weren't as productive in the first half, particularly, as we have been and that will be a goal for this game to get the ball back for the offense.
"Coming out of the South Carolina game offensively, I thought we had made some progress. We obviously didn't do real well against a really fine Miami defensive football team. As we prepare for this Mississippi State team, with a lot of looks and blitzes and a typical Joe Lee Dunn type defensive football team, we are fortunate we have seen versions of it against Arkansas, Florida and South Carolina. We went back and looked at the 1998 SEC Championship Game. We think we had a good start yesterday on managing that.
